The workshop "Three spaces: the interaction of physical, social, and virtual realities" is devoted to the way of modern life, its forms of thought and the realities in which it exists. The workshop will consist of a series of lectures and presentations on the influence of each of these three spaces on a person, their interaction, contradictions and inconsistencies. The workshop’s participants will, together with teachers Noam Lemelshtrich Latar, Michael Bogomolny, Gregory Asmolov and Alex Gekker, actively explore this topic and will try to answer how all three spaces can be used at once, what rules and laws are necessary for their effective interaction, and what happens when mismatches and gaps occur between what is happening in the physical and virtual realities.

Noam Lemelshtrich Latar is dean and founder of the Sammy Ofer School of Communications and Information, an Israeli bachelor-master program in communication, chairman of the Israel Communication Association, and member of Israel’s Press Council.

Michael Bogomolny is an architect working in design and construction of educational spaces, and teacher and founder of the Milhauz Institute for Media, Culture and Self-Identification.

Gregory Asmolov is a teacher of new information technology, portal editor as Runet Echo, researcher at Harvard University’s Berkman Center for Internet and Society, and co-creator of the "HelpMap" for burn victims.

Alex Gekker is researcher of new media and digital culture at the University of Utrecht and works at Games for Health Europe, an organization that supports the use of games and game technology in medicine. He also works as a journalist for Israel’s largest news site, Ynet.

The workshop will go on for three days, with each day having its own theme. You can either choose a favorite, or participate in all.
