МЕЖДУ ДОМОМ И ОФИСОМ – ОПЫТ АМСТЕРДАМА В РАЗВИТИИ ТЕРРИТОРИЙ/RETHINKING EUROPE – AMSTERDAM EXPERIENCE IN TERRITORY DEVELOPMENT

Амстердам — город с поразительной способность отвоевывать землю у моря и превращать старые пристани в территории с новой динамикой развития. За последние 20 лет именно представители Амстердама разработали наибольшее количество проектов в области социального жилья и публичных пространств среди номинантов европейской архитектурной премии Миса ван дер Роэ.

В рамках двухдневного мероприятия ведущие голландские архитекторы и представители городской администрации Амстердама, ответственные за развитие территорий, расскажут о лучших проектах по развитию территорий в Амстердаме и градостроительной политике своего города, а так же обсудят, какие из этих практик могли бы быть применимы и в других городах. 

Так же участники дискуссии проведут воркшоп для студентов.

В рамках воркшопа представители архитектурного и градостроительного сообщества Амстердама исследуют конкретный кейс в Москве – территорию, расположенную в самом центре Москвы, прямо напротив Зарядья между Раушской и Садовнической набережной.

Джованна Карневали – директор фонда Миса ван дер Рое.

Кис Каан – архитектор, член жюри международных архитектурных конкурсов, номинант премии Миса ван дер Роэ (1998 год), основатель бюро KAAN Architecten и Claus en Kaan Architecten. Его исследования направлены на крупномасштабные проекты, отображающие быстрое развитие глобальной урбанизации. Примерами его работ являются Судебный институт и здание Верховного суда в Гааге, the Heimolen Crematorium в Синт Никласе. Каан в настоящее время является заведующим кафедры комплексных проектов департамента архитектуры Технологического института в Делфте.

Гус Тиленс – архитектор и сооснователь бюро Korth Tielens Architecten в Амстердаме. Бюро Гус специализируется на общественных пространствах и инфраструктурных проектах. В 2006 Korth Tielens Architecten получили приемию Prins Bernhard Cultural Funds’ Charlotte Köhler Prize и в 2012 году Zuiderkerk Prize. Помимо работы в качестве архитектора, Гус преподает в различных архитектурных и художественных школах, а также является редактором журнала OASE.

Яп Грабер – архитектор, член комиссии по развитию архитектуры города Амстердама. После долгой и успешной карьеры в качестве архитектора и урбаниста в составе бюро Киса Каана, Яп основал агентство PLAN, специализирующееся на иссловедованиях города и создании градостраительных концепций. В настоящий момент Яп участвует в разработке стратегии развития Амстердама на ближайшие 10 лет.

Сабина Лебеск – историк архитектуры, урбанист и член городского совета Амстердама. Сабина написала несколько эссе о развитии городов и архитектуруе в Амстердаме. Она регулярно преподает в различных учебных заведениях, а также в течение десяти лет работает в Голландском архитектурном институте.

Серия «Между домом и офисом – европейский опыт территориального развития городов» подготовлена специально для летней программы института «Стрелка» в партнерстве с фондом Людвига Миса ван дер Роэ.

Фонд Миса ван дер Роэ – крупнейший европейский архитектурный фонд и дирекция самой престижной премии в области архитектурных инноваций – Mies van der Roe Award.

Amsterdam’s ability to reclaim land from the sea and turn old docks into areas with dynamic new uses has made it a key example to understand several urban proposals. Moreover, Amsterdam — and the Netherlands as a whole — has generated the largest number of proposals for public and social housing amongst the nominees for the European Awards for Contemporary Architecture.

During the two-day event leading Dutch architects and representatives of the city administration of Amsterdam, responsible for the development of territories, will talk about the best projects for the development of areas in Amsterdam and urban politics of the city, as well as discuss which of these practices could be applicable in other cities. Dutch experts would also hold a workshop for students. During the workshop, representatives of the architectural and urban community of Amsterdam will explore specific case in Moscow – the area situated in Moscow city center, directly opposite Zaryadie area, between Raushskaya and Sadovnicheskaya embankments.

Following a series of workshops will be developed and submitted a list of recommendations for the integrated development of this territory.

Giovanna Carnevalli – Director of the Fundació Mies van der Rohe in Barcelona.

Kees Kaan – Dutch architect and founder of KAAN Architecten and Claus en Kaan Architecten. His research focuses on large scale projects that characterize rapid global urbanization. Examples of his work are the Netherlands Forensic Institute in The Hague, the Heimolen Crematorium in Sint Niklaas and the Supreme Court of the Netherlands in The Hague. Kaan is currently responsible of the Chair Complex Projects of the department of Architecture at Delft University of Technology. Kees Kaan is a nominee for the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion Award (1998).

Gus Tielens – Dutcharchitect and co-founder of Korth Tielens Architecten in Amsterdam. The office works in the field of architecture, public space and infrastructure. She was trained at the Technical University of Berlin and Delft University of Technology. In 2006 Korth Tielens Architecten received the Prins Bernhard Cultural Funds’ Charlotte Köhler Prize for architecture and in 2012 the Zuiderkerk Prize. Besides her work as an architect Gus works for various architecture and art schools and and is an editor of OASE.

Jaap Graber – Dutch architect, a member of commision for architecture quality of the city of Amsterdam. After a long and successful career as an architect and urbanist he founded PLAN, an agency with it’s focus on urban concepts, development and research. PLAN is involved in concepts for the build environment for the coming 10 years. Their work method is based on the dutch way of developing urban fabric we also work on international projects and projects for the United Nations.

Sabine Lebesque is an architecture historian, urbanist and city developer. She is working for over 14 years for the Development Corporation of the City of Amsterdam. Sabine wrote several publications about urban development and or built environment or architecture in Amsterdam. In her daily work she is involved into urban development by being member of the Investors Office of the city council. She is regularly teaching at several educational institutes, and worked for ten years at the Netherlands Architecture Institute.

Series "Rethinking Europe – European experience in the city development" is prepared specially for the summer program of the Strelka Institute in partnership with the Fundació Mies van der Rohe.
